When I was younger I believed
That life would be like in the movies
Something would pop up magically

Before you know it, plans collapse
The clock’s ticking away

When your motto’s a lie
And you’re drifting through life

Patting yourself on the back
“At least I gave it a try”
Don’t know how to lift you up but
Sometimes it just sucks
Sometimes I do cry but it don’t mean I’m weak
Sometime I’m sick of crowds but then I get so lonely
Sometimes I’m insecure but I still believe in me
Accepting every parts of me
It’s ok when your dreams don’t come true
Maybe it never will but the view is kinda nice
It’s ok when your dreams just slipped by
We can’t turn back time but maybe that’s life
